Week 8 Waiver Wire: Top fantasy football pickups

  • Bills RB C.J. Spiller had to be carted off the field. He’s been ruled out with a shoulder injury. UPDATE: The initial diagnosis is that Spiller suffered a broken collarbone and will be out for the season. - Lions RB Reggie Bush limped off the field and was seen walking gingerly on the sideline. UPDATE: Bush has returned to the field.

  • Saints RB Pierre Thomas was seen walking to the locker room under his own power with a shoulder injury. Apparently, he was being evaluated coming out of the locker room at halftime, but left the game after taking a big hit in the second half.

  • Bengals RB Gio Bernard was drilled on a screen pass early in the game. There haven’t been any official injury updates, but he’s received a very light workload today.

  • Colts RB Trent Richardson left the game with a hamstring injury and didn’t return.
