Matchups are tough to evaluate for any position in Week 1, and it’s nearly impossible to predict how kickers will fare from week-to-week anyway. A five-FG game by the immortal Wil Lutz is certainly possible. But enough talk, let’s get to the rankings....
One factor that might give a lot of owners pause is that the Week 6 byes aren’t going to hurt too much (Bengals, Bills, Cowboys, Seahawks), so there might not be as much of a need to make a move, especially at the “streamer” positions (TE and D/ST). Even Kane, with his ridiculous 21 goals, has more blanked in more matches (13) than he has scored (11). So where can owners turn? Who can save us from the frustration of watching our Fantasy strikers go goalless week after week? Fortunately, a lot of forwards changed clubs on Deadline Day. There are now six strikers who have either been added to the game or have changed clubs, and with those new clubs come new Fantasy opportunities....
With that said, FLEX rankings can be critical. It’s important to know what tiers players are in relating to their position, but seeing how they group with other skill position fantasy options is also nice. And if you’re torn between taking a receiver or a running back, you can take a look at how they stack up against one another in these rankings and how the board is shaping out below them....
