MORE WEEK 4: Top waiver pickups | FAAB budget planner | Buy-low, sell-high Josh Gordon Fantasy Outlook Many have wondered when the Chiefs would bring in a real No. 2 wide receiver, and perhaps Josh Gordon’s arrival to Kansas City could be what they’ve been waiting for. However, we must keep our expectations for Gordon realistic. Especially for fantasy, we’d love to see him return to his rookie and sophomore form when he totaled 2,451 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns....

Speaking Tuesday morning at a CBD oil press event, Gronkowski said he’s “pain free” for the first time in a decade. He added that he doesn’t see a comeback happening in the “foreseeable future” but wouldn’t rule one out altogether. The Patriots are without TE Ben Watson due to a four-game suspension to start the season, and Matt LaCosse has dealt with injuries at the position, too....

Admittedly, it’s tough to drop players that you’re confident in, and at this point in the season, you may have a lot of those. Still, it’s important to project into the future. So, if you’re still holding onto a player that rarely starts and is dealing with an injury, like Christian Kirk, it could make sense to drop them to pick up a guy like Jeff Wilson Jr., who could emerge as the new backfield leader for the 49ers....

Fortunately, the four teams on bye next week (Panthers, Colts, Jets, 49ers) don’t feature many fantasy fixtures. There will likely be less demand than usual for TE and D/ST streamers, but we still have several options in our full waiver list . We’re at that point in the season where all that matters is winning, so if there’s someone on the wire with a better matchup in a given week, don’t be afraid to make a move....

Favorable matchups should help the top fantasy QBs this week. Rodgers goes against a shaky Falcons pass D, Brady visits the Saints, Drew Brees faces that same Pats defense Smith lit up, Russell Wilson gets the Niners at home, and Derek Carr is up against the Jets. For some fantasy teams, there will be tough choices with Marcus Mariota, Cam Newton and Jameis Winston, among others. This week, we should see more QBs putting up typical fantasy quarterback numbers in the 20s, and it starts with the guys in our top 10....

If you’re really daring, you can take a shot with Case Keenum (vs. Browns) or Trevor Siemian (@ Chiefs), but at that point, you might as well take your chances with your normal starer. Derek Carr (@ Bills) and Alex Smith (vs. Broncos) are two regular starters who have less-than-promising outlooks, but at least both play defenses that had some trouble against QBs last week. Overall, this looks like a tough week for QBs, so there’s definite value in having a “high-floor” signal-caller....
